Description

This mussel debysser transforms raw mussels with byssus into PAC mussels (ready to cook without byssus).
This debysser cuts all mussel byssus flush with their shells without damaging them.
The mussels remain alive and can be restocked without any mortality problem.
A complete range of mussel debyssers makes it possible to adapt to any type of production and breed of mussels.

Technical principle:
Machined rollers rotating in the opposite direction grip the byssus and cut it flush without stressing the moulds.
A rubber finger harrow and a rinsing nozzle by an alternating movement with a variable speed makes it possible to regulate the capacity of the machine.

Different possible evacuation:
– Direct in box with optional closed circuit pump.
– D.200mm pipe to a screen or shellfish crusher
Cleaning and maintenance: the harrow is liftable for easy cleaning
All the mechanical movement is in stainless steel (chain, sprockets)

Option: automatic oiler for reduced maintenance
